The West River Farmers Market is now indoors! For the first time since it began its summer market in 1993, the West River Farmers Market will be operating a winter farmers’ market. Beginning October 19th and lasting until December 28th, the market will run every Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. The market can be found indoors at the Flood Brook Union School, located at 91 Vermont Rt 11, Londonderry, VT 05148. This new location is conveniently located just two miles west of its summer market location.

Textiles at West River Winter MarketAt the West River Farmers’ Market, there is something to appeal to every shopper. With over 20 vendors from the local Mountain region, customers can be sure to leave with the finest products that the state of Vermont has to offer. Along with fresh, local produce, you will find food vendors selling cheeses, maple syrup, pies, soups and a number of value-added and frozen products. In addition, customers are able to admire the skills of the market’s craft vendors who offer jewelry, pottery, wooden bowls, handbags, clothing, quilts, and wool products.

While at the market, be sure to connect with your local community organizations and stop by the nonprofit table. If your organization is interested in participating, be sure to sign up the next time you visit the market! Also, don’t forget to take advantage of the Harvest of the Month poster and recipe suggestions compliments of the Green Mountain Farm to School program.
